FRACGP: Writing cases for the Key Feature Problem (KFP) exam
This activity aims to introduce RACGP Fellow members to assessment in medical education, and provide instruction on how to write cases for the KFP exam. It will cover key assessment concepts and outline important elements to consider when writing cases for the KFP exam. The ALM trains RACGP Fellow members on how to write cases for use in the FRACGP exams, which assess the ability of a GP to practice in unsupervised clinical general practice. Regular training of writers ensures recent, relevant cases are available to be used in the exam, and a bank of suitable cases to select from for each exam cycle.
