The GP18 Scientific Committee is pleased to announce abstract submission for GP18 is now open!

GP17 exceeded all expectations attracting a record number of abstracts and delegates. The stage has been set for GP18 to be the event to present your research, ideas and innovations to your peers.

The GP18 Scientific Committee is calling for 15-minute, 30-minute and one-hour oral or research and poster presentations.

Active learning modules (ALM), clinical workshops and CPR workshops are managed separately from this online process.


GP18 is an all-inclusive conference and the program will celebrate the breadth of general practice. For that reason, there is an ‘other’ options if you feel you have an abstract that doesn’t fit into the existing key themes.

Presentation Types

Abstracts are welcome as either a 15-minute, 30-minute or 1-hour oral presentation. These times include question time at the end of the presentation. Alternatively, you may submit a poster only. Posters will be displayed in the GP18 exhibition hall.


15 mins

Will be allocated 10 minutes for their presentation with an additional 5 minutes for questions.


1 hr

Will be allocated 55 minutes for their presentation with an additional 5 minutes for questions.


30 mins

Will be allocated 25 minutes for their presentation with an additional 5 minutes for questions.


Posters

Must be portrait orientation with the preferred size either A0 or B0.

All abstracts must follow the GP18 abstract template. Please also refer to the abstract submission guidelines. If you have any questions please contact the GP18 Events Team.

Authors will be notified of their abstract status mid to late-April 2018.
